Pooling Academy Project Manager

Lexipol is seeking a Project Manager to support its work on the development and launch of AGRiP’s Pooling Academy. The role will operate out of Lexipol’s headquarters in Frisco, TX, but consideration may be given to perform remotely. As the Project Manager for Pooling Academy, you will work with a curriculum development team and subject matter experts to create the next generation educational tool for public entity pooling. In this position, you will define and set priorities for Pooling Academy features and functions, assist in the creation of an actionable roadmap for content/curriculum development, and be responsible for executing on product strategy and delivering successful learning outcomes.

The Project Manager will work closely with project teams at Lexipol and AGRiP, including the curriculum design team, subject matter experts, the learning management system technical team, and project owners to develop functionality and content to achieve Pooling Academy objectives.

To be successful in this position, you must be highly motivated, creative, able to think big and execute, yet coordinate and account for many details. The ideal candidate has strong program management experience and excellent communication skills with team members in a variety of roles. The qualified candidate will have:

  • Three plus years experience in product or project management. Formal project management certification or education is preferred.
  • Solid technical background and experience working with Agile software development methodologies and remote development teams.
  • Familiarity with web-based programming languages.
  • Previous experience with SaaS-based training solutions or LMS technology.
  • Excellent computer skills, with proven ability to learn new applications including JIRA, SFDC, and Wrike.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and G Suite functionality.
  • Familiarity with the public entity pooling environment is preferred.
