Legislative Action Day

In an effort to help educate legislators and decision makers about CAJPA, its members, and its position on proposed legislation, CAJPA hosts a Legislative Action Day. Each spring members from throughout the state gather in Sacramento to meet one-on-one with legislators at the state capitol. This event is crucial to CAJPA as legislative advocacy is a core part of the association’s mission.

Wednesday, April 18, 2012 - 8:30am to 12:30pm

CAJPA 2012 Legislative Action Day is your opportunity to join peers and be part of a dynamic day in the State Capitol! We welcome seasoned legislative veterans as well as those who may just be starting their involvement in grassroots legislative efforts. We anticipate a number of legislative bills on workers' compensation, health care and tort liability; 2012 will require all CAJPA members to be part of our legislative program.
