INFORMATION SYSTEMS (Salary $83,160-$98,280 Annually)
ASCIP is seeking an Information Systems Coordinator who will also act as software integrator and database analyst. The IS Coordinator will be responsible for the development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and repair of all IS software, hardware, network operation and infrastructure.
As system integrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of a total system solution that deals with the major business processes of the organization. The task requires integrating hardware, software, staff, clients, and service providers into a global organizational network. The selected candidate will be the lead in the strategic design process and translate business needs into technical systems solutions.
The successful candidate will interact with staff, clients and service providers to identify the needs of the organization, design, recommend, integrate, test and manage software, hardware and network solutions on various hardware platforms and operating systems, and troubleshoot all deployed solutions.
As the database analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for development, maintenance, and support of the organizational database and data warehousing solution.
This position is expected to be very hands-on and involved at a technical level. This position also is expected to interface with different groups and stakeholders within and outside the organization so strong communication skills are essential.
DESIRED SKILLS: Five years of experience as a database administrator, system integrator, IS Manager or similar position.
•Experience writing or implementing complex procedures, backup & recovery solutions, web based applications and similar programs.
•Experience in database and data warehouse design.
•Experience in extract, transform, load (ETL) process design and implementation (data staging techniques, metadata, database synchronization, monitoring, etc)
•Experience in the development and implementation of web based solutions
•Software troubleshooting skills including fault isolation, root cause analysis, and trouble resolution. Strong knowledge of networking solutions is desirable.
•Familiarity with hardware and network infrastructure selection, configuration, application, troubleshooting and repair.
