On September 1, 2001, the California Institute for Public Risk Analysis (CIPRA) dissolved as a non-profit corporation and immediately re-formed as a data gathering committee of the California Association of Joint Power Authorities (CAJPA). The committee represents a joint effort between CAJPA and the Public Agency Risk Managers Association (PARMA). The committee retains the CIPRA name and goal of collecting, compiling and disseminating risk management related data for the benefit of public agencies.
