Please review the answers to frequently asked questions before registering:

All registration for the conference will be online.  There are no paper registration forms available.

How do I pay for my registration?
You may pay by credit card during the registration process or register and select Check by Mail and mail in your payment.

What do I do if my credit card order is declined?
When registering with a credit card, if your order is declined, there is a problem with the credit card or the way the information was submitted.  Double-check all the information you input including the card number, type of card and expiration number.  Your credit card transaction is processed by authorize.net and is secure so CAJPA management has no way of checking why the order was declined.  If your credit card order is declined, you may choose payment by check and mail your check to CAJPA to secure your registration.

Where do I send my check if I register with Check by Mail?
When registering with the Check by Mail Option, please include the order number on your check and mail the check to CAJPA, P.O. Box 255431, Sacramento, CA  95865-5431.

What information do we ask for on the online registration form?
Your name:  for example, Jenifer McDonald
Your nickname for your badge: for example, Jennie
Your title
Your employer: for example, ABC School District
The name of the CAJPA or AGRiP member of which your employer is a member (we list this on your name tag): for example, XYZ JPA
*Your email address
Please provide the registrants email address here.  The option below allows your assistant to receive a confirmation, too.
*Additional email address (so your assistant can also receive a copy of your email confirmation of registration)
An emergency phone number - just in case.  This should be a number where we can reach someone related to you 24 hours a day.

How do I know you received my online registration?
When you order is completed, you receive an order confirmation from the online store.  You will also receive an email confirmation from registration@cajpa.org within five business days that will contain your formal confirmation of registration and other conference details.  If you have not received confirmation after five business days, email registration@cajpa.org for a status of your registration.

Can I register more than one person at a time?
Yes, simply "keep shopping" until you have all your registrants entered and have chosen all the optional items such as golf, workshop and spouse registrations.  Then pay all at once by credit card or Check by Mail.  You can even save your cart and return later to process the order.

Why can't I register for the breakout sessions online?
You can register for the optional Friday Business Writing Workshop online but all other sessions are open to anyone registered for the conference.  Sessions rooms have been reworked to hold more than 125 people during each time slot so there should be room for all who want to attend.

Do I register online for my hotel room?
No, visit the Fall Conference page of the CAJPA website for details on hotel reservations and the phone numbers for the hotel.  The only way to make a hotel reservation is to call the hotels directly.

 BREAKOUT SESSION SCHEDULE

A few reminders:

Nametags Required:  In lieu of the use of event “tickets,” registrants will be required to wear their name tags for admittance to all conference functions including the exhibit hall, breakout sessions, receptions and meal functions.

If you would like to register a spouse or guest for the social functions you may do so prior to the conference or at the registration desk.

Cancellation policy:  All requests for refunds must be made in writing and sent to CAJPA, P.O.
